What this standard covers
This standard covers the construction of brick masonry in general and the erection of brick walls in particular. 1.2 Only masonry with clay bricks is dealt with in this standard. Use of unburnt bricks ( kachcha bricks ) and use of mud mortar are not specifically covered in this standard.
